What We Do

TGiT Worship

Thursdays at 8pm

Our evening worship is called Thank God it’s Thursday and it is a great way launch into the campus weekend. We gather at 8:00 pm, and the service is about an hour with snack time to follow. Pastor Chu and the Wesley Worship Lab design a worship that is thought provoking and engaging. Eric Aten and the praise band offer music that inspires you to get up and dance. Come and join us for TGiT. Stan the Tan Van will pick you up if you need a lift.

Sunday Nights at 5:30pm

Some of the best learning happens around a shared meal. We learn and grow in faith as we prepare and share a meal together. Our time together includes the occasional guest speaker, small group discussions and of course yummy eats. Come explore your faith, ask questions, and have group discussions as well as just relax and hang out with friends. We gather for the meal preparation at 4:30 pm. The meal is served at 5:30 pm. Stan the Tan Van will pick you up if you need a lift.

Organized activities for growing together

Even among 50,000 students, campus can seem like a lonely place. Wesley strives a be a community of trust. We are a place where you can share your thoughts on a variety of subjects without fear of judgement. Jesus spent a lot of time connecting people to God and one another in deep and meaningful ways, and this is what Wesley is about. We gather the Wesley community for Lunch Bunch, Movie Night, Wesley Prom and UM v. MSU lock-in and a variety of other good times.

Regular opportunities for loving God and Neighbor

MSU Wesley is a Christian community of young adults that serves without judgement. We approach service opportunities fully expecting a change of heart and life of the servant as well as those whom we serve.  We have conducted service projects in Haiti, Jamaica, Alabama, Washington DC, New Orleans and South Carolina. We also connect with mission closer to home (Habitat for Humanity, Motown Missions and Cass Community Services.
